A self-guided tour of ~10 ADUs in Portland neighborhoods
Hourly ADU-focused presentations from industry professionals
A social and networking event for ADU tour attendees after the tour
Date: Sunday, June 1st, 2014
9am: Purchase and/or pick up wristbands and ADU tour packets at Caravan- The Tiny House
10am-4pm: Registrants take a self-guided tour of 10+ ADUs at their own pace (or, take a guided tour)
10am-4pm: Presentations by ADU Experts at Living Room Realty on Alberta Street
ADU Planning and Zoning Regulations- City of Portland– Land Use Services Division
Smart Design for Small Space– Polyphon Architecture and Design
Cash Incentives and Green Certification Options for ADU’s– Earth Advantage and Energy Trust of Oregon
Financing ADUs with Local Financial Products- Prospect Mortgage
The Building Process from A to U- Shelter Solutions
ADU Online Collaboration & Project Management- New Avenue
4pm-6pm: Network with other ADU tour-attendees at Caravan- The Tiny House Hotel
ADU site addresses will be provided to tour registrants in advance of the tour.
For those who may opt to bike, the total route length of the ADUs is 16.3 miles from north to south and bike racks will be provided at each tour stop.
Tour attendees can also choose to attend any of the following presentations that will be happening concurrent to the tour.
